Casa Buena Vida accommodates 8 or 12 guests, based on the number of bedrooms selected: 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests in the main villa, or 6 bedrooms for up to 12 guests with the main villa plus the casita.

Please note: the casita is accessed separately from the main entrance via its own staircase and private door. It is not directly connected to the main villa, so it is not recommended for unattended children and is best suited for adults only. The casita is also not equal in size and amenities to the bedrooms within the main villa.

Your stay at Casa Buena Vida includes a fully staffed luxury villa experience designed for comfort, relaxation, and personalized hospitality.

Staff & Services: cook preparing two meals per day, houseman/waiter/bartender, housekeeper, and full-service concierge.

Service hours: housekeeper from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm; cook for two meals daily, with the kitchen open no later than 7:00 pm. Guests may choose breakfast and lunch, or breakfast and dinner. Staff are off on Sundays and national holidays.

Breakfast is typically served around 9:00 am. We recommend reviewing your preferred meal schedule directly with the villa staff upon arrival.

Dinner service concludes by 7:00 pm. After dinner, the staff will tidy the dining areas, serve a final round of beverages, and conclude service for the evening.

Earlier breakfasts, later dinners, or extended service hours may be arranged with advance notice and an additional fee. Please coordinate schedule adjustments with the houseman or concierge at least 24 hours in advance.

Laundry service: laundry is available at US$20 per load. Whites and colors are washed separately and counted as separate loads. Specialty fabrics cannot be accommodated. For safety and liability reasons, guests do not have access to the villa laundry area or equipment, and same-day laundry service is not available.

Food and beverages are not included in the villa rental rate and are charged separately based on consumption.

The staff handles grocery shopping, meal preparation, service, and cleanup so you can enjoy a seamless dining experience throughout your stay. A 10% shopping and handling fee applies to all grocery purchases. Groceries are typically purchased on a cash basis, and Mexican pesos are preferred. If using U.S. dollars, exchange rates will be determined by the establishment where the staff makes the purchases.

For safety and service standards, the kitchen and appliances are reserved exclusively for villa staff use. The team is happy to prepare simple, ready-to-enjoy items upon request.

Yes. Prior to arrival, you will receive a Guest Preference Form where you can share dietary restrictions, allergies, favorite foods, beverage preferences, and special requests.

The chef will tailor menus to your group’s tastes and can accommodate most dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive diets with advance notice.

Most meals are served family-style, creating a relaxed and social dining experience for your group. For special occasions, plated service and customized dining experiences may also be arranged.

As a general guideline, we recommend budgeting approximately US$40–$60 per guest, per day for food and beverages. Actual costs vary depending on menu selections, beverage preferences, and consumption.

Yes. The villa can be pre-stocked with groceries, beverages, snacks, and other essentials prior to your arrival. Simply provide your preferences in advance, and the concierge team will coordinate the arrangements.

Yes. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, family gathering, or milestone event, the team can assist with special menus, decorations, cakes, floral arrangements, and other personalized touches to make your celebration memorable.

Casa Buena Vida does not cater to larger celebratory events with guest counts exceeding its capacity. However, milestone birthdays, bachelorette parties, family gatherings, corporate retreats, and wellness events may be hosted. Please contact us for details.

Gratuity is not included in the rental rate and is left to the discretion of our guests. While entirely optional, a gratuity of 10%–15% of the rental amount is customary and greatly appreciated by the villa staff for exceptional service.

Standard seasons: Value Season (May 1 – October 31) has a 4-night minimum stay. Peak Season (November 1 – April 30) has a 5-night minimum stay. U.S. Thanksgiving has a 5-night minimum stay.

Holiday seasons: Christmas (December 19/20 – December 26/27) and New Year’s (December 26/27 – January 4) are full-villa bookings only with a 7-night minimum stay.

Please note that reservations overlapping both holiday periods, for example December 24–31, cannot be accommodated.

Casa Buena Vida is located just a 5-minute walk from Conchas Chinas through the villa’s oceanfront. Depending on the tide, the distance to the sandy part of the beach may vary. The route is not recommended for guests with limited mobility because of the uneven terrain. Conchas Chinas is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most scenic beaches.

Downtown Puerto Vallarta is approximately 8 minutes away by car, while Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) is roughly a 35–40-minute drive from the villa.

To preserve the condition of the private residence and accommodate guests and staff with allergies or sensitivities, pets and animals are not permitted on the premises. This policy applies to guests, visitors, vendors, and all third parties.

Smoking is not permitted inside the villa or its rooms. Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in a deodorizing fee being charged to your bill.

Casa Buena Vida is a multi-level property with stairs throughout and is not wheelchair accessible or ADA-adapted. Guests are responsible for determining whether the property suits their individual accessibility needs and for arranging any required personal assistance or equipment.

All services provided within the villa must be coordinated through villa management and concierge services. This includes massage therapists, musicians, entertainers, yoga instructors, and similar providers. Outside vendors hired independently by guests are not permitted unless approved in advance by villa management.

To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for neighboring homes and guests, noise and music must remain at respectful levels at all times. Quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

Yes. For guest comfort, the pool is heated seasonally from November through April, with temperatures maintained up to approximately 85°F.

During Puerto Vallarta’s warmer months, heating is generally unnecessary; however, summer pool heating may be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

The team typically responds within 24 hours. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance due 60 days before arrival. As each stay is carefully planned and personalized, last-minute bookings are generally not available. Early inquiries are highly recommended.
